How to Join the Club
Submission Instructions

The Character Animators character animation club was established to bring dedicated character animators together to network, share, expose and challenge one another. Exposure is a big part of what the club is about. It is difficult and unwise to work without external input. Not all input is constructive, but no input is a key ingredient of stagnation.

The club will initially serve as a place to showcase member work, present localized, animation-related news, and conduct periodic contests and challenges. As the club grows, new features may be added and expanded.

Additionally, we do not wish to ignore other segments of the animation field. If significant interest is voiced, we may start or advocate for additional clubs in other genres and areas of animation, like experimental animation, effects animation, etc. All forms of animation are acknowledged and appreciated by the administration of this club. It is only for the sake of focus and necessity that the scope of the club is narrowed.

How to Join the Club

If you are interested in joining Character Animators, please send a Note with the title "JOIN" as the subject, and a link to one or more pieces of character animation in your gallery. Please feel free to include some brief information about yourself that you feel pertains to membership in the club. We will inform you on the status of your request, as soon as we are able to review it.

Should you be accepted for membership, your deviantART profile will be linked on the club’s members page and your initial submissions will be posted to the club gallery.

At this point, please keep track of the goings-on at the club by adding Character Animators to your deviantWATCH. It would also be appreciated if you could help to promote the club by adding the club’s icon to your homepage and journal entries. And tell your friends about the club. More exposure is better for everyone involved.
